President, Australian Chrysanthemum Council
Hi Paul, the Australian Chrysanthemum Council congratulates the N.C.S. on their gold medal success at the Chelsea Flower Show . No doubt the magnificent display of chrysanthemums will rekindle the avid gardeners interest to grow a few plants in their own garden.
Regards, Ken

Topic
Quality and in depth coverage.
Feedback: The old adage says "I can't, but I know a man who can". In all walks of life and knowledge, individuals stand out for their skills. The development of the website has gone from strength to strength, and the website operator is not only very keen but highly skilled as well. Long may this continuing improvement go on. The site brings credit to the Society but particularly to Paul Barlow, and the rest of the development team.

Topic: The new NCS Website.
Feedback: The NCS Website just gets better and better, and with all that information one can spend quite some time browsing the many articles and information that it contains. Many thanks must go out to the webmaster and team for all the work they put in to make the site a real winner. Also, because of growers personal websites and E mail addresses, there is now an opportunity for more contact, and that can't be a bad thing. Thanks again team.

I have in the past been very critical of the NCS and it's lack of information to members. The way this new site is set out is first class and I am sure others will think so too. The general gardener can at last see what we are about. I now have somewhere to shout about when I go to meetings and Talk and Judge. So it is 'well done' to all the NCS who have made this possible. I go along with what Ivor has said, the quality of the site shines. Very informative.  I do hope Members, Garden enthusiast & the General Public will come to appreciate this quality site.  From me, a small cog in the wheel, well done. Kindest Regards Harry (28/03/08)

Paul, specialist horticultural societies have fallen on hard times recently; almost all of them have seen a reduction in numbers of members. As older people leave us we hope to get younger ones interested to take our place. Young people use the internet extensively, that's why a top class website is essential for all specialist societies.
Your website is the best horticultural website I've come across in the world. (Yes the world). The begonia society website runs a close second. I presume their webmaster is someone like you, an IT expert, very knowledgeable about begonias, and enthusiastic.

May I congratulate the trustees of the National Chrysanthemum Society for recognising the fact that the website is of utmost importance. May I thank you personally and I'm sure on behalf of all chrysanth enthusiasts for providing this new NCS website. In John Peace you have someone as committed and passionate as yourself, along with Harry Lawson you will make a great team. I know you will keep us all informed with up to date information on chrysanths. I am very excited about the future of chrysanthemums in the UK. Please stay healthy and keep it up. We owe all three of you a great debt of gratitude.
Kind Regards, Ivor Mace.

Paul,  I have been away on holiday the last 2 weeks and have just got back this week end and so first opportunity to have a look and my initial reaction is excellent. I have only spent about half hour looking at this but find access around the site first class.
Regards, Roger Brownbridge

Terry Williams
(Swansea  Chrysanth Society)
Hi Harry, may I introduce myself, I am Terry Williams of the Swansea Chrysanthemum Society also a member of the N.C.S. I have been looking through the new N.C.S. web site and was very impressed in the way it was set up, also very easy to get around the site. I was very interested to see that you are a keen photographer, I am also of the same interest for quite a number of years, did black and white and colour also printing all with Canon equipment like yourself. I have now changed to digital photography so we could have a lot to talk about with Photoshop on the computer. Will be keen to follow the new web site with great interest, and give my regards to the rest of the team involved, good luck in the new venture.
All the best,  Terry Williams  (Swansea Chrysanthemum Society)

Hi John, I look forward to the new NCS Website and all the comments. I had intended being at the AGM on Saturday, but as normal the best laid plans don't always work out.  I look forward to exchanging views with you again.

Hi John, You may not remember, but I wrote to you a week or so ago saying how very pleased I was with the rooted cuttings, that I received from you.  Also, like your new N.C.S. Website.
Kind Regards, and once again many thanks. John Patterson. West Sussex.

Hi Paul, Common sense at last, the right people for the right jobs. Browsed the new N.C.S. web site - looks very good, like all the up to date items. Can you keep this up? Like the committee minutes, one can now get information straight from the source, will we get minutes from quarterly meetings as well? John Jozefow.

Hello Paul, Had a look at the new Web Site, looks very good. I could possibly renew my membership on the strength of it. There's talk of a feedback form - a good idea if it works both ways. I had better send Peter a cheque!
Gordon.
