It’s
time again to invite all, Society Secretary’s, Committee and your
general membership, to the A.G.M. of the Midland Group. At the Parish
Hall, Wilnecote Watling Street,
Tamworth

Growing and Showing Late Flowering Incurves from M. Higgins
The
group will be organising on your behalf in 2010, the usual ‘early’
early show at the Gardeners Weekend; Kings Heath Park on 1st
weekend after the August bank holiday; Saturday/ Sunday 4th/5th
SEPTEMBER for those who have ‘early’ flowers, which an entry of
staged flowers gives the exhibitor free entry to the show. The display
this last year was the best for many years, we had relinquished a
significant part of our allocated area because of the considerable run
of poor numbers, hopefully the turnaround will be long lasting both as a
competition and advert for the chrysanthemum.
This
will be followed by the groups’ main early show on FRIDAY 24th at the now established
venue in Tamworth.
The late
show is still under consideration, and the AGM is the ideal
opportunity for you to voice your opinions on this matter.
